In some cases, Presentation Font Embedder will not be able to embed the fonts that you use in your presentations:
Beginning with the 2007 version, Microsoft introduced new file formats for the Office suite products and set those new formats as the default for saving files. Presentation Font Embedder supports these new file formats (e.g. files ending with a ‘pptx’ extension) and does not support any files created by prior versions (e.g. ‘ppt’ extension, usually referred to as PowerPoint 97-2004 format). See Supported File Types for more information.
If you would like to to embed fonts into a PowerPoint 97-2004 file, you can easily convert it to the new format with a recent Office product. Simply open the 97-2004 format file and perform a Save as in the new format. The newly saved file can be embedded using Presentation Font Embedder.
This method requires an active installation of Microsoft PowerPoint 2010, 2013, 2016, or 365.
Due to the nature of this method, which is to render the text shapes into images, some animations cannot be maintained after the embedding process. This includes animations of individual text paragraphs and characters within shapes, and animations of color change.
Slide masters and slide layouts
At this time, the Presentation Font Embedder is unable to embed shapes of slide masters and slide layouts. We hope to bring support for these shapes in the future.
